Our Chair

David Roberts

D.L. Evans Bank

David Roberts – with nearly two decades of industry experience, recognized for his strategic leadership and steadfast commitment to community advancement. A native of Idaho, David has consistently demonstrated a values-driven approach throughout his career, emphasizing integrity, customer-centric solutions, and the cultivation of enduring relationships.

Throughout his professional journey, David has held key leadership roles and has been instrumental in driving organizational growth and client success. His deep understanding of the financial landscape, combined with his local expertise, enables him to deliver tailored guidance to clients navigating complex market environments.

David’s influence extends well beyond the banking sector. He is a dedicated civic leader, serving as an Ambassador for the Boise Metro Chamber, a Board Director for the Garden City Chamber, and an active volunteer with organizations such as the Weiser Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Saint Alphonsus Foundation, and the Salvation Army – Boise Corps. His commitment to service is further reflected in his involvement with the Boys & Girls Club of Ada County, Special Olympics Idaho, and various councils and committees, where he consistently champions initiatives that strengthen and empower the community.

A passionate advocate for leadership, financial empowerment, and community development, David is driven by a vision of building stronger, more resilient communities through collaboration and service

David’s commitment to the mission of the American Cancer Society is deeply personal. “When I was just 27, I lost my father to an aggressive brain cancer. He was diagnosed on February 7, 2010, and passed away just six weeks later, on March 21. I know all too well how cancer touches all of us—family members, friends, and even our beloved pets.”

Cancer remains a formidable challenge: in 2024, an estimated 2 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the United States, and more than 600,000 Americans will lose their lives to the disease. In Idaho alone, over 9,000 people are expected to be diagnosed with cancer this year. These numbers underscore the urgent need for continued advocacy, research, and patient support.

David is honored to serve as the Board and Event Chair for the American Cancer Society of Idaho. He is committed to collaborating with others to advance the Society’s mission: to end cancer as we know it, for everyone, by improving the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support. David Roberts currently serves as Vice President of Community Development and Branch Manager for D.L. Evans Bank.
